journey to Arlanda airport, Sweden at 4 in the afternoon (above): afternoon tea, with finger sandwiches (beef with horseradish and rocket on granary bread; chicken, tomato spread and cheese on white; and egg and watercress on wholemeal white bread; followed by scone with jam + clotted cream, coffee and walnut sponge cake, and tea.
journey to LHR, England, 7 in the evening. Chicken tandoori skewer on mixed vegetable couscous, green salad, tumeric-spiced carrots, yoghurt covered grilled eggplant and zucchini, served with seeded roll and butter. Followed by apple and chocolate mousse, and cheddar cheese with chutney and oatcakes.
Not bad British Airways, not bad.
